Meet the Founder

Jennifer Boudreaux, CPNP-PC, PMHS

I have been called a baby whisperer since I was young and I knew I was called to pediatrics of some sort for as long as I can remember. Although I now live on the other side of the country, this community in the Rogue Valley has my heart. I love being able to still serve a complex population of pediatric patients with "soft-wired" and "hard-wired" neurologic or "brain" issues and their families.

While treating kids with epilepsy, migraines, MS, and other neurologic disorders, I quickly realized that the comorbidities of living with a chronic disease that others can't see and understand, can be more life-altering than the disease itself. In our typical medical system, those treating the neurologic disorder don't treat the comorbidities, so patients are left seeking out separate providers that are typically scarce, or take weeks or months to get in with. So I got a secondary certification in pediatric mental health to be able to effectively treat both.

I'm passionate about helping kids with neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders be their best selves.

I grew up watching these kids, who often didn't have a title for their struggles, get publicly shamed and labeled bad kids, but they were often the most intelligent, creative, resourceful kids in their class.

Unfortunately, these same incredible humans end up self-medicating and choosing unhealthy coping mechanisms that tarnish their reputation and limit their long-term potential, which is a travesty.

While treating the patients, I teach and encourage parents to help advocate for them in social and school settings and coordinate with other providers providing behavioral therapy.

I've had the privilege of watching kids referred to me who are failing school and/or about to get expelled from school due to behaviors, become successful and enjoy school.

My mission is to make sure you and your child feel heard.

FAQs

  • Jennifer is contracted with most insurances, including OHP, Jackson Care Connect, and AllCare. Please check with your insurance to determine whether Jennifer is considered an in-network or out-of-network provider.

  • Yes! As long as you are under the age of 22.

  • Jennifer sees patients from 0 through 21 years of age.

  • Absolutely. This is where Jennifer’s services are unique. She will manage the “hard-wired” and soft-wired” brain disorders, since they so often coexist, and the medication management can be tricky.

  • Jennifer does not do the comprehensive neuropsychological testing for disorders like autism. But she does have pediatric neuropsychologists she refers patients to for testing and helping to determine which issues are the most pressing and require intervention.

  • Jennifer sees patients with protracted recovery from brain injuries. This clinic is not typically able to get patients in within that first 2 week critical period, so your PCP will manage the immediate symptoms. They can refer you on if it appears your symptoms are not improving as quickly as expected.
