Meet Your Provider
Jennifer Boudreaux, CPNP-PC, PMHS
I have been called a baby whisperer since I was young and I knew I was called to pediatrics of some sort for as long as I can remember. Although I now live on the other side of the country, this community has my heart. I love being able to still serve a complex population of pediatric patients with "soft-wired" and "hard-wired" neurologic or "brain" issues and their families.
While treating the patients, I teach and encourage parents to help advocate for them in social and school settings and coordinate with other providers providing behavioral therapy. I've had the privilege of watching kids referred to me who are failing school and/or about to get expelled from school due to behaviors, become successful and enjoy school.
Patient Testimonials
Zeke’s Story
In mid March of 2017 my son Zeke experienced the beginning of a long run of seizures. The following week we were referred to see Jennifer Boudreaux at her previous clinic. The appointment wasn’t scheduled for another month but he was a tiny little baby and him having seizures was so very scary for us as his family.
The night he clustered significantly more than he had in the past few days, I called the on-call line. The woman who answered my cry for help was none other than Jennifer Boudreaux. She told me to bring my tiny little baby to her the next morning where she would start us down a journey of discovery. She never gave up on our little guy even when other providers did. She’s always had his best interest and our family's best interest at the forefront of her care for him.
When we discovered his life would be limited on time she cried with us but also has never stopped giving him her very best in care and love. When she moved she still continued to give him the close care and attention he required as a very medically needy child. When our son's big sister began showing signs of autism she took on her care without any hesitation! She continues to care for us all and makes sure they have their needs met in more ways than one.
Our son is thriving because Jennifer never gave up on him. I truly credit his survival at almost 7 to her at the forefront of a long list of his providers!

Oliver’s Story
When Oliver was showing symptoms of a problem, it seemed as if no one heard us when we knew something wasn’t right. They thought Jaz had the ‘new mother syndrome’, and was just afraid.
Then we got to meet Dr. Narus and he entrusted us to Jennifer.
Jenn has not only been the most amazing provider that we have ever met in our lives, but she has been an ongoing advocate for all of us, a teacher, a patient listener, and she has loved Ollie through the good, and through those few sassy times.
You are our hero, Jennifer! Your heart is true and so kind and loving and even quick witted! Thank you for helping Jazzy and me through some of the toughest hurdles of our lives, and teaching us how to fix what we can and to love while we can, instead of worrying about what might happen.
—Lisa
Jennifer Boudreaux has provided excellent care for our son with complex health needs for the last 4 years. I have never met a more exceptional clinician. Her clinical skills and her loving care for both parents and patient go above and beyond. She is incredibly responsive and has been instrumental in navigating many critical issues in his care. To have a provider who is so warm, competent, accessible and patient is a gift and it was such a relief to us to have her be a part of our health care team!
—Peyton & Denise
How to Work With me
Wondering how to start the process of working together? Here are the steps:
Schedule a visit with your PCP and request a referral.
Once your PCP sends us a referral, it's routed to the provider for review.
If the correct form isn't sent, or enough information isn't available in the initial referral, we'll reach out to the PCP or parents for more information.
Depending on the nature and urgency of the disorder for which you are being referred, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment and register the patient through our electronic health record.
Appointments will only occur once the entire registration process is complete.
FAQs
-
Jennifer is contracted with most insurances, including OHP, Jackson Care Connect, and AllCare. Please check with your insurance to determine whether Jennifer is considered an in-network or out-of-network provider.
-
Yes! As long as you are under the age of 22.
-
Jennifer sees patients from 0 through 21 years of age.
-
Absolutely. This is where Jennifer’s services are unique. She will manage the “hard-wired” and soft-wired” brain disorders, since they so often coexist, and the medication management can be tricky.
-
Jennifer does not do the comprehensive neuropsychological testing for disorders like autism. But she does have pediatric neuropsychologists she refers patients to for testing and helping to determine which issues are the most pressing and require intervention.
-
Jennifer sees patients with protracted recovery from brain injuries. This clinic is not typically able to get patients in within that first 2 week critical period, so your PCP will manage the immediate symptoms. They can refer you on if it appears your symptoms are not improving as quickly as expected.
